WHAT ARE THE AREAS WE ARE EXPECTED TO BE DIFFERENT:
1.     HUMILITY: real humility has to do with you understanding who you really are (Philippians 2:5, Mathew 20:25-28)
2.     Be different through originality (Romans 12:3 & 4)
3.     Sacrificial kingdom service (Malachi 3, 1 Peter 2:5)
4.     Be different by developing a learning attitude (2 Timothy 2:15)
5.     Be different through radical faith (numbers 14:22-24)
6.     Be different through holiness

REMEMBER WHAT YOU SHOULD REMEMBER
WHAT SHOULD YOU REMEMBER?
1.    Remember where God picked you from (Deuteronomy 8:18, 2samuel 7)
2.    When you get there remember why you are there. (Esther 4:14)
3.    Remember those God used to help you in the past
4.    Remember that the book of remembrance is being kept for your acts of love (Hebrews 6:10)
5.    Remember that the book of eternal judgment are taking records and kept for remembrance (Revelation 20:1)

It was later conquered by Cyrus the Persian and then Alexander the great. The conquests reduced sardis to ruins in AD 17.
