1. We are already one with Christ Jesus (john15:1-5,1john 4:17)
2. The goal of Christianity is to be one with Christ in the spirit (Romans 1:16)
3. The goal of Christianity is to be with Christ in our thoughts and action
The continuous process towards this goal is Christians growth and we achieve it by studying the word of God (1peter 2:2,2corinthians 3:18
IN WHAT WAYS ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BE ONE IN CHRIST
1. In faith, authority and power (john20:21, john 14:12)
2. Oneness with Christ in purpose and vision
3. Oneness with Christ in character “be ye holy for I am holy” study the word to show yourself approved (john 13:34,1john 4:7-8)

THEME: RAISING DISCIPLES
TEXT: PHILLIPIANS 2:5
TWO FRUITS TO BEAR
A.Friut of character (fruit of the Holy Spirit)
B.Fruits of souls (fruit of soul winning)
Christ came to raise men to do more than he did (john 14:12, mark16:15-17, Luke 10:16)
The impact u did on peoples life is what you will give account in heaven (Mathew 28:18-19,2timothy 2:2)
BENEFITS OF RAISING MEN
1. The harvest of God is multiplied (Mathew 9:36)
2.You receive multiplied blessings(Luke 19:16-19)
3. God’s work prosper from generation to generation (Hebrew 12:1)
4. You will receive eternal rewards
REQUIREMENTS
1. You must have a progressive spirit
2. You need patience (2timothy 2:24-26)
3. You must be determined

It was later conquered by Cyrus the Persian and then Alexander the great. The conquests reduced sardis to ruins in AD 17.
