TOPIC: Provoking the Blessing.
TEXT: Genesis 22:9-18.
FOCUS: Blessing of Greatness( Abraham ).

              POWER OF THE BLESSING.
1}. The Blessing sets you far above your Superiors.(Deuteronomy 28:1-2, Genesis 22:17).
2}. The Blessing makes you indestructible.( Isaiah 65:8, Deuteronomy 28:2,7).
      HOW DO WE PROVOKE THE BLESSING.
1}. Extreme sacrificial honour to God.
a. In obedience. ( Hebrew 11:24-26).
b. In service. (Genesis 15:1-5).
c. By honouring God in giving.
2}. Extreme sacrificial honour to his prophets. (Hosea 12:13).
a. By being loyal to them.( Exodus 32:25-28)
b. By giving to them.

It was later conquered by Cyrus the Persian and then Alexander the great. The conquests reduced sardis to ruins in AD 17. A great Earthquake reduced the great city into a heap of refuse later, emperor Tiberius of rome gave it new life. This city worshipped the goddess cybele. Revelation of Jesus to them. Rev 3:1. 1 The one who has the seven spirits of God, signifying the fullness of God. 2 The one who has the seven stars-" I own and control the destiny of my pastors. Commendation.
