WHY DOES GOD ALLOW STORMS?
1.       TO TEST OUR  LOVE FOR HIM (DEUTRONOMY 8:2 & 3)
2.       IT PREPARES US TO HELP OTHERS 2 CORINTHIANS 1:4
3.       MOST STORMS ARE BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE

HOW DO WE WALK IN THE STORMS WHEN THEY COME?
1.       PRAY BEFORE THE STORM ARRIVES (MATTHEW 14:22&23) AND AFTER THE STORM
2.       BE COURAGEOUS
3.       HEAR FROM GOD
4.       SEEK KINDLY ASSISTANCE WHERE IT IS NECESSARY

WHY IS INTERCESSORY NECESSARY?
1.       TO TEACH US HUMILITY
2.       GOD WANTS TO UNITE US TOGETHER. MATTHEW 18:18
3.       BECAUSE IT INCREASES POWER  & ANOINTING (ACTS 12:6)

It was later conquered by Cyrus the Persian and then Alexander the great. The conquests reduced sardis to ruins in AD 17. A great Earthquake reduced the great city into a heap of refuse later, emperor Tiberius of rome gave it new life. This city worshipped the goddess cybele. Revelation of Jesus to them.
