WHAT IS GOD?

1-      IT IS WHAT YOU PUT FIRST IN YOUR LIFE
2-      GOD IS WHAT YOU TRUST IN AND BOAST ABOUT (MARK 10:24)
3-      ANYTHING YOU CANNOT SACRIFICE TO GOD IS YOUR god
4-      ANY THING YOU PUT ABOVE GOD HE WILL ATTACK IT
5-      WHATEVER YOU CANNOT GIVE OUT TO GOD IS A god
6-      ANY PLEASURE YOU CANNOT FORSAKE  IN OTHER TO SERVE GOD IS A god (LUKE 12:19,2TIM 3:2-4)
CONSEQUENCES OF HAVING OTHER GOD:
1.       GOD DEPARTS FROM YOU (BECAUSE HE CANNOT BE NO2)
2.       GOD MAKES SURE YOU COME LAST IN EVERYTHING YOU DO (MARK 10:29-30,1SAMUEL 2:29-30,DEUTERONOMY 28:13)
3.       YOU ATTRACT A CURSE UPON YOURSELF
4.       ETERNAL SEPERATION FROM GOD
BLESSING OF TRUSTING GOD:
1.       IMPOSSIBLE BECOMES POSSIBLE (MARK 10:24-27)
2.       UNUSUAL MULTIPLICATION OF REWARDS (MARK 10:29-30)
3.       ETERNITY WITH GOD IN HEAVEN
        HOW TO OVERCOME OTHER gods:
1.       BE RICH TOWARDS GOD (LUKE 12:13-21) BY SACRIFICIAL GIVING
2.       IF IT IS BECOMING A GOD SACRIFICE IT TO GOD (MARK 10:21,GEN 22)
3.       CONSCIOUSLY BUILD YOUR FAITH IN GOD (JEREMIAH 17:5-7)
4.       KILL OTHER god IN YOUR HEART THROUGH PRAYER

It was later conquered by Cyrus the Persian and then Alexander the great. The conquests reduced sardis to ruins in AD 17. A great Earthquake reduced the great city into a heap of refuse later, emperor Tiberius of rome gave it new life. This city worshipped the goddess cybele. Revelation of Jesus to them.
