TOPIC: THE POWER OF THE BLESSING (PART 1&2)
TEXT: GEN 27:25-40
WHAT IS BLESSING?
          Blessing is a force that creates success in spite of opposition.
WHAT BLESSING CAN DO FOR YOU?

  • It gives you unstoppable success (genesis 31:41&42)

  • It gives you unquestionable dominion

  • It makes you indestructible (Isaiah 65:8) (genesis 31:2)

  • The blessing stops and cancels curses (numbers 22:12)

  • The blessing has trans-generational effects

  • It converts unusual wisdom(gives unusual wisdom) genesis 26:15-18

KEYS TO ACTIVATE YOUR BLESSING
What are those channels?

  • Faith in the blessing: this means placing value on the blessing in a way that you can sacrifice for it

  • Being disciplined to live in the manner consistent with the blessing (genesis 25:22-23)

  • Praying for the blessing consistently (genesis 18:17-19)

  • Total obedience to God  

  • Submission to mentor-ship:

It gives direction
It saves you wasted years of trial & error
It gives you credibility (2kings 3:11&12)
WHAT IS SUBMISSION TO MENTOR-SHIP?
It is service.
FINALLY, Learn a manner of life that will make way for your blessing (2Tim 3:10, 1 Thes 5:1-8)
