TOPIC: The Power Of God's Mercy
TEXT:  Matthew 20:1-16

WHAT WILL MERCY DO IN YOUR LIFE?
1. Mercy will destroy stagnation in your life. (Matthew 20:6-7)
2. Mercy will move you from last to first (Matthew 20:8,16)
3. Mercy will give you undeserved greatness (Matthew 20:10-14)

WHAT TO NOTE ABOUT MERCY
(1.) Mercy and truth go together ( Psalm 89:14, John 1:17)
(1a.) Truth without mercy will produce legalism (James 2:10-13)
(1b.) Mercy without truth will produce iniquity (Romans 6:1-2, Proverbs 16:6)

WHAT IS TRUTHFUL LIVING?
1. Truthful living is a sincere commitment to obey all God's word. (Matthew 7:24-27)
2. It is a practical honesty and truthfulness (Ephisians 4:25, Revelation 21:8)
3. It is sincerely applying God's principles of success in our daily lives -( punctuality, hardwork) Matthew 20:6-7

TEXT: Luke 18:9-14

WHAT WILL MERCY DO FOR YOU?
1. Mercy will preserve you and all that is yours. (Psalm 61:7, Psalm 5:12)
2. Mercy will restore your wasted years (Matthew 20:11-14, Joel 2:25-27)

HOW TO MULTIPLY MERCY IN YOUR LIFE?
1. Sow mercy as a seed (Luke 6:38, Matthew 5:7) 
-Joshua 2:12-19
2. Be humble

WHAT ARE THE HINDRANCES TO GRACE?
1.  The greatest hindrance to grace is judging and condemning others ( Luke 6:36-37)
COMMON WAYS WE JUDGE OTHERS:
1. Using a persons past to destroy his future even  when he has repented. (Luke 18:11-13)
2. Hearing accusations against someone and judging him without hearing from him (proverbs 18:13,17)
3. Assuming that you know what someone is thinking and using that assumption to judge him.
3a. Condemning rich people as stingy without hearing them.
